The Great Adventure...

And so it begins. After 3 years of living in Australia, 2½ years of marriage, completion of Tom’s Uni degree, 8 jobs between us and lots of chatting to the MD, we are finally on our way!

Where we are going...

Our jobs in Australia will be finishing the last week of November. We have been so blessed and thankful for the opportunities and experiences we both have had to equip us for the future. We are moving to Hong Kong to work for a charity called Crossroads International which seeks to redistribute the abundance of second hand goods in Hong Kong to those in need around the world.

Upon our arrival in Hong Kong Christy will be moving back into the financial accounting role. Thankfully there are now a number of qualified, talented people in accounts that will now work as a team rather than just one person on their own.

Tom will be moving into the IT department to assist in a variety of ways along with work for Global Hand.

Support...

We have been so encouraged by the support we have received both financially and otherwise. Special thanks to those who have helped us move from our apartment.

As of November we have currently raised half our annual support.

Our timeline...

December 2nd - 5th: We will be travelling to Christchurch, New Zealand where Tom has been asked to speak at a networking conference. This is a great, but terrifying priviledge for Tom.

December 6th - 27th: Christmas with Christy's family in Colorado.

December 28th – January 2nd: We will travel to Santa Barbara to catch up with friends on the west coast of the US.

January 3rd: Arrive in Hong Kong.

And finally...

We would love to speak and share more with you in person or over the phone as we travel. Please let us know if you are interested or if you need any further information from us. We would like to catch up with friends and family especially as we travel through the US.

We would also like to take this opportunity to wish you a merry Christmas and a happy new year. We again thank you for walking with us throughout the past few years and as we move again. Your encouragement and support has been and is greatly appreciated by us.
